A documental digitalisation project to help improve operational processes must involve the collaboration of the user companies. Therefore, we wanted to create Air Freight Solution with the clear intention of adapting it to the real market needs and have the air freight community participate in its development.

This pilot group consists of companies throughout the air freight logistics chain so that different perspectives, sensibilities and priorities can be considered. The constituents of the pilot group are the forwarding agents Aduanas Pujol Rubió (APR), Airpharm Logistics, Nadal Forwarding and TIBA; the transport company Transjunior, the handling operator WFS as well as GSA Air Logistics Group (ALG) representing the point of view of the airlines. This pilot group has been created thanks to the collaboration of GPA and their role as a driving force of the air freight community at Barcelona Airport.

The pilot group has helped defining the reach of the platform and their contribution has been inestimable when defining the product in order to solve specific problems. The pilot group has been collaborating for more than a year in the definition, development and validation of Air Freight Solution.
